Wow…  what a weekend!  We return to work, fighting the snow and delayed trains, after a busy and fun packed weekend at Craft Beer Rising.  An amazing start to the event year.

Showcasing more than 175 breweries and the very best craft beer and craft cider from the UK and beyond, CBR just keeps getting better.  The choice was staggering, including well established beer brands such as Thornbridge and Fourpure to our ‘rising star’ neighbours Brick Brewery, Brixton Brewery and Gypsy Hill.  Internationally Sierra Nevada and Stone impressed and our cider pals Orchard Pig were kept busy pouring the perfect complementary pint for our Snackling.

To keep up with demand this year Serious Pig took two stands in true ‘Snack Takeover’ style! George said of the event:

“This has been our biggest year at Craft Beer Rising. We served over 2,000 snackers with our salami, Snackingham and Snackling, putting big smiles on their faces. Oh and someone’s won a years worth of pork snacks! We’ll announce the winner on Friday.”

There was a great line up on the decks throughout the weekend adding pace and excitement.  The place was buzzing.  George got to meet Daddy G from Massive Attack to share a beer and some pork snackage.

Next stop Aberdeen for the BrewDog AGM event.  We can’t wait!
