Sales Executive
Serious Pig is a premium snack brand obsessed with satisfying the most discerning of tastes. We obsess over the quality, taste and texture of our products and have been doing so since 2010.
Serious Pig can be found in some seriously good stockists from passionate independent pubs, taprooms, farm shops and delis to iconic retailers such as Fortnum & Mason, destination pubs like Heston Blumenthal’s Hinds Head in Bray and progressive pub and bar groups like BrewDog.
Serious Pig is rapidly expanding with new products just around the corner and an ever growing army of fans joining Club Seriously (yes it’s a real thing!). To support this exciting time we are on the lookout for the right people to join our growing team. The right attitude wins over qualifications with us, along with a desire to just get shit done. A genuine interest in the craft food and beer world is essential.
The Role:
The Sales Executive will support the Sales Manager. You will play an integral part in the day-to-day sales functions, splitting your time between managing a growing number of trade customers, fielding inbound calls and emails and quickly and effectively converting those into new business.
Responsibilities:
Build a strong understanding of Serious Pig products and brand
Outbound replenishment phone calls to ensure customers have stock and introduce new products
Field inbound calls and take orders and process payments
Maintain order sheet & CRM with accurate data
Manage deliveries and update customer records accordingly
Get out on the beat and knock down doors, in the nicest possible way! (new business development and trade customer visits)
Run customer sampling and staff training sessions with trade customers
Attend trade and consumer events
Requirements:
The confidence to engage with people on the phone and face to face and to build meaningful commercial relationships
Self-starter and good ability to prioritise
Patient and resilient
Open to learning and listening, and confident to share own ideas
Confident with technology (all the fun stuff like Google Suite, CRM’s, MS Office etc)
A good understanding of commerce and a genuine interest in the craft food and drink industry
Passion, initiative and enthusiasm in bucket loads
