The epic rainfall stopped just in time, the new arches and courtyard came together and we resisted the beer fridge just long enough to celebrate…the FIRST EVER Club Seriously Live!
It was fantastic that so many of our Club Seriously members could make it down to Peckham to help us toast the completion of our new events space, which we call Club Seriously Live. Here’s a cracking little film we made of the evening.
KEEPING IT LOCAL
We had a tasty and informative guided beer tasting with Ian Stewart, founder of Peckham’s Brick Brewery along with some banging entertainment from local South London-based band Ese & The Vooduu People, who created our latest Music To Eat Salami To playlist, which you can listen to by clicking the image below.
Legendary chicken magician, Bobby from Proper Jerk, fired up his grill to bring us his unbelievably tasty chicken burgers. The pulled jerk pork loaded fries were something special too so watch out for Bobby’s future pop-ups on his Instagram @itsproperjerk
We can’t wait to start planning the next range of evenings for our Club Seriously members. The aim is to entertain, inform and provide the opportunity to learn something new. Additionally they’ll always be supported by the best food and drink from the friends we’ve made over the years in craft beer, British wine and spirits and artisan food producers and pop-ups. If you’d like to hear more and receive your invitation to the next event join Club Seriously HERE.
